A few weeks ago I did a very nice ballon trip. The weather was perfect this day and I could take some impressive photos. At this altitude, one has a very different perspective to the ground. Here a few impressions from this day:
We recently traveled through the beautiful landscapes of Scotland. The nature there is stunning and wonderful and the scenes change every few kilometres.
The people were so welcoming and warm! Everywhere we arrived, people started a chat with us and we got much useful information about the local places and Scotland.
We started our journey in Stirling, which has a beautiful castle, the Wallace Monument and a nice town. There we stayed at Kerrann B&B and we felt at home in this house. The owner was very friendly and helpful, we got lots of useful information about Stirling and Scotland. We can really recommend this place.
From Stirling we traveled through smaller places to Oban. This is a interesting small town with a wonderful view over the sea and here we got the best fish’n’chips we ever had.
At this place we stayed in the guesthouse Kilchrenan House, a great place with wonderful rooms. The owners of the house were very welcoming and gave us many good tips for places to visit. We also had the chance to stay one night in a room with a stunning sea view, including a small table and armchairs to enjoy the view. The last photo shows their house.
Starting from this weekend you can see a few of my photos in the shop window of Foto Zumstein in Bern. The shown pictures are various different views of Bern.
Foto Zumstein is a very good location for Photographers. They have a really broad range of products in the shop and always the latest cameras and lenses in stock. The shop staff has a deep knowledge of photography and I got always good advise from them.
An overcast but bright sky provides perfect light to take photos from small flowers.
A great day in Emmental: Blue sky and sunny weather with a great view to the alps and over all the hills in this region. I apologise for the small panoramic images, it is really hard to publish them in a good way.
Here you can look into the panorama to see more details:
A few impressions from BEA this year.
After a few very cold days, spring was back today and there was a beautiful sunset. The old town was crowded with people enjoying the sun.
There are definitely some first signs of spring. The following photos I took a few days ago, when it was warm and sunny.
Recently we climbed all the steps up to the minster tower in Bern. From there we had a very nice view over the old town and I took a few nice photos.
Here details from the panorama view:
